They had a dream: to create a family project that would unite them with nature and allow them to give free rein to their passion for wines. At the foot of the Serra d'Ossa, a stone's throw from the magnificent city of Estremoz, they found the "perfect" place, where the natural and semi-wild landscape still takes over. They recovered the hill, the vegetable garden and the orchard and, in the middle of a Mediterranean forest of cork oaks and holm oaks, they planted their vineyards with Portuguese varieties. In the center of it, next to the hill, they built their cellar, using stones taken from the rocky soil where the vine now grows. After these years, they believed that it was worth dreaming and the result was the birth of the first DOC Alentejo Biológico wine: Outeiros Altos. Focused on obtaining products of excellence, with their own identity, respecting ancestral production techniques, based on the preservation of the environment, the promotion of biodiversity and the practice of sustainable agriculture, these are the reasons why it is claimed that everything they produce is, of course, Alentejo.
